Escucha Israel, el Señor es nuestro D-os; el Señor es Uno.
Bendito sea Su Nombre; Su Gloria y Su Reino por siempre jamás.
Y amarás al Señor, tu D-os, con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma, y con todas tus fuerzas. Y estas palabras que Yo te mando hoy estarán sobre tu corazón, y las repetirás a tus hijos, y hablarás de ellas estando en tu casa, y andando por el camino, y al acostarte y al levantarte. Y las atarás como señal en tu brazo, y estarán como recordatorio entre tus ojos (Tefilin); y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa y en tus puertas (Mezuzá).
Si obedeciereis cumplidamente lo que yo os prescribo hoy, amando al Señor, vuestro D-os, y sirviéndole con todo vuestro corazón y con toda vuestra alma. Entonces daré la lluvia de vuestra tierra a su tiempo: la temprana y la tardía; y recogerás tus granos, tu vino y tu aceite. Daré hierba en tu campo para tu ganado; y comerás y te saciarás. Pero guardáos que vuestro corazón no sea seducido y os desviéis para servir a otros dioses y os inclinéis ante ellos. Y se encienda la ira del Señor contra vosotros, y cierre los cielos y no haya lluvia y la tierra no dé sus frutos, y perezcáis pronto de la buena tierra que el Señor os da. (Por tanto) pondréis éstas mis palabras en vuestros corazones y en vuestra alma, y las ataréis como señal en vuestros brazos, y serán como recordatorio entre vuestros ojos. Y las enseñaréis a vuestros hijos, hablando de ellas cuando te sientes en tu casa, cuando andes por el camino y cuando te acuestes y cuando te levantes; y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa y en tus puertas. Para que sean vuestros días y los días de vuestros hijos tan numerosos sobre la tierra que el Señor juró a vuestros antepasados que les había de dar, como los días de los cielos sobre la tierra
Y habló el Señor a Moisés diciendo: Habla a los hijos de Israel, y ordénales que se hagan flecos (Tzitzit) en los bordes de sus vestidos por sus generaciones; y pongan sobre el fleco en cada esquina un cordón azul turquesa. Y les servirá de Tzitzit, para que cuando los veáis os acordéis de todos los mandameintos del Señor para cumplirlos. Y no os dejéis llevar en pos de vuestro corazón y de vuestros ojos, porque de acuerdo con ellos irás por mal camino. Para que os acordéis y hagáis todos Sus mandamientos, y seáis santos a vuestro D-os. Yo, el Señor, vuestro D-os, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para ser vuestro D-os. Yo, el Señor, Soy vuestro D-os.
Hear, O Israel, the L-rd is our G-d, the L-rd is One.
Blessed be the name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever.
You shall love the L-rd your G-d with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might. And these words which I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them thoroughly to your children, and you shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road, when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign upon your arm, and they shall be for a reminder between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates.
And it will come to pass that if you continually hearken to My mitzvot that I command you today, to love the L-rd your G-d, and to serve Him, with all your heart and with all your soul -- then I will provide rain for your land in its proper time, the early and late rains, that you may gather in your grain, your wine, and your oil. I will provide grass in your field for your cattle and you will eat and be satisfied.
Beware lest your heart be seduced and you turn astray and serve G-ds of others and bow to them. Then the wrath of G-d will blaze against you. He will restrain the heaven so there will be no rain and the ground will not yield its produce. And you will swiftly be banished from the goodly land which G-d gives you.
Place these words of Mine upon your heart and upon your soul; bind them for a sign upon your arm and let them be tefillin between your eyes. Teach them to your children, to discuss them, while you sit in your home, while you walk on your way, when you retire and when you arise. And write them on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates. In order to prolong your days and the days of your children upon the ground that G-d has sworn to your ancestors to give them, like the days of the heaven on the earth.
And G-d said to Moses saying: Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them that they are to make themselves tzitzit on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations. And they are to place upon the tzitzit of each corner a thread of blue (techelet). And it shall constitute tzitzit for you, that you may see it and remember all the mitzvot of G-d and perform them; and not explore after your heart and after your eyes after which you stray. So that you may remember and perform all My mitzvot; and be holy to your G-d. I am G-d, your G-d, Who has removed you from the land of Egypt to be a G-d to you. I am G-d your G-d... it is true
